Is TopGolf a golf simulator?
NO. Nothing is simulated! TopGolf is played at a state-of-the-art Game Center based on a traditional golf driving range, it uses real golf balls, real golf tees and real golf clubs. Each ball is hit towards targets up to 240 yards away.
Is TopGolf a driving range?
YES... but a rather sophisticated one. A microchip inside each golf ball at TopGolf provides instant feedback to a screen in each player's bay about how far the ball was hit and the accuracy of each shot.

Can customers refund their credits?
No
Why should customers become members while they still get discount from Bulk purchase?
Other benefits such as Booking priority and still get further discount after bulk purchase
If customers buy in Bulk and get discount then they buy member, do they get discount on both?
Yes. Bulk purchase discount is extra credits and member get discount on rate per game
What can customers do about remaining balance that less than required credits per game?
They can top up partially and play new game
Can we transfer balance to someone else?
No
What's difference between Package and Credits?
Package will composed on number of free games regardless of credits per game
Credit will be deducted according to credits per game of each time
Customers have a choice to select them at ball dispenser
Can we keep credit until next time of play?
Yes
If 1 package contains 3 games and customers would like to play only 2 games can they keep remaining 1 game?
No. Because once you buy package, you will get total balls from dispenser, 60 balls which they have to play in that day
If customer what to play "X" game what is his best options?

Can customers buy a promotion package of 3 rounds for the price of 2 and keep that to play for tomorrow?
No.
Can players share the same bay?
Yes up to 4 but recommend only 2
Can players share the same I.D.?
Yes. But result shows under cardholder's name only
If customers at Off peak and play at peak time what rate is being used?
Time of getting balls at ball dispenser will determine all rate regardless of actual playing time
For promotion package what if customers would like to play more after 3rd game?
They can either Top up credits or purchase package
Can customers add money to upgrade member from what they already paid?
No
Do free games will be expired in one day?
Yes for Package and No for free game from membership or complimentary
What happen if customers would like to change member type?
Make payment and issue new card
Why should customers apply for family member?
Cheaper rate per person. The more members in family, the cheaper rate they get
Can customers hold their balls and play on the other days?
Or ask us to keep balls for them
No. Once customers get balls from ball dispensers, all ball must be played on that day
There is no point to keep balls for them since system won't recognize balls after midnight
And we don't have a policy to keep balls for customers

If customers hit the ball into the target and no points is rewarded what should they do?
They can to reception and amend their score or they can edit score by themselves at Bay monitor
Can one customer challenge another customer?
Yes
How many types of games are available?
6 so far. TopGolf, TopChip, TopShot, TopBreak, TopPressure, and TopPractice
Can customers change games in the middle?
No. once game has been selected, customers have to played that game until the game is over
What it customers hit the wrong ball?
Unfortunately, they can't fix it. Score will be shown under ball register's name regardless of who hits it

Can anyone play?
YES, providing they are able to swing a golf club. The game is designed for beginners to professionals and people of all abilities. The age range recommended is from 5 to 105, basically anybody who is able to hold a club.
Does the golf ball fly the same as a normal golf ball?
YES, it is a premium golf ball. Extensive flight testing in the USA proves TopGolf's premium golf balls behave exactly the same as golf balls used by TopGolfers all over the world.
Why do I need to have a Club card?
Each player requires a 'Club Card' in order to play. The Club card is a smart card which enables the microchip inside each ball to be allocated to the player each time they play. The Club Card then allows personalized balls to be dispensed, pre programmed with the players' details such as name and handicaps.

How does the computer monitor know who hit which ball?
A tiny microchip inside each of your TopGolf balls is programmed with your name from your Club Card. The golf balls are tracked by 'The I.D. BALL System'
What is the 'I.D. BALL System'?
The I.D. BALL System consists of Compaq computers, software and targets which track every golf ball, reading the tiny chips, as they pass through the I.D. BALL sensors. I.D. BALL sensors are placed in golf ball dispensers, targets and ball trays, in order to enable the games at TopGolf be played.
Is TopGolf designed to replace the traditional golf course?
NO. TopGolf is encouraging more people to take up the wonderful sport of golf. TopGolf is a great way of getting started, improving your golf skills and having fun.
Can I just practice?
YES. A number of the world's elite golfers have played at TopGolf. And whilst you don't have to go for a score, nearly all golfers find the challenge and excitement of a game, together with the feedback of distance and accuracy, to be invaluable to their golf improvement.
Is TopGolf the only game?
TopGolf is the flagship game, however there are other fun games designed to test your skill and increase your enjoyment. The additional games require players to hit specific targets in a certain order. Some of the games focus on the targets near the bays, whilst other games focus on targets further away.
What are the targets like?
The targets are the size of an average golf green. They are positioned from as near as 25 yards from your bay to as far away as 240 yards. There are 11 I.D. BALL targets, which are designed to capture and track golf balls.
I don't know how to hit a golf ball or even hold a golf club... where do I start?
Our Game Advisors in the center will give free advice on how to hold and swing a golf club as well as talk your through the game. This will get you started but if you want proper lessons from a golf professional, the TopGolf Academy will be only too pleased to help you, please chat to one of our PGA professionals.

I haven't got any golf clubs, can I rent some?
Golf clubs are loaned free of charge. Men's, ladies' and junior clubs are available, as well as left and right-handed sets.
Can I score a 'hole-in-one'?
YES. Each target that is 50+ yards away contains a standard 4.25 inch 'golf hole' right in front of the flag, in the center of the target green. The screen in your bay will indicate if you score a hole-in-one and what prize is available!
Can I play on my own?
YES. You can also have up to five players in each bay, but it is still great entertainment playing on your own because you can compare your score, via the Leader boards, with everyone else on the range.
How do I compare my score to other players?
There is a leader board for the highest scores of the day as well as one for the best ever scores. There are separate leader boards for ladies and juniors and different types of membership.
What do I wear to play TopGolf?
There is no specified dress code at TopGolf.
Is it expensive to play TopGolf?
NO. It is obviously more expensive than hitting range quality golf balls into a muddy outfield, but compared to leisure activities such as tenpin bowling, movie theaters etc. it is excellent value. To keep the cost per game down, it is possible to pre-buy multiple games and if you play at off-peak times, the cost per game can be even lower.
Is TopGolf suitable for 'corporate outings'?
YES. TopGolf is perfect for entertaining any group of individuals who are looking for fun, excitement and a challenge. Our Corporate Packages include prizes and trophies to be awarded to teams or individuals for that extra competitive excitement. Contact our Membership & Sales Manager for details.
Is TopGolf suitable for children's parties?
YES. TopGolf is ideal, but we recommend a minimum age of around 7 years.
Who invented TopGolf?
A British company, World Golf Systems Ltd, based in North London. They have spent over $20 million and 7 years developing, testing and perfecting the technology, systems and facilities behind TopGolf. Today, they continue to develop new golf applications and technologies
Is there anything similar in existence elsewhere in the world?
TopGolf is a world first. There are currently three sites in the UK, one in Thailand and one in the US - Kingstowne, VA
Is the technology patented and protected?
YES. Patents have been filed worldwide.
